Peter has been playing guitar since the age of 13. He started on Black Sabbath songs, and gradually moved his way through 80s thrash metal to death metal and neo-classical shred.

After discovering Dream Theater, his musical palette started to expand, taking inspiration from a variety of styles.

His biggest influences are John Petrucci, Dave Mustaine, Greg Howe, Jason Becker, Dimebag Darrell, Sergey Rachmaninov, Johann Sebastian Bach, Wes Montgomery, and Al Di Meola.
